Helping businesses clean, transform, and manage their data

Excel support, fixes and enhancements

Excel is a powerful tool, but it does not take much for a spreadsheet to become fragile, confusing, or simply stop doing what you need it to do. This service is aimed at businesses and individuals who rely on Excel day to day and want clear, practical help without jargon or long-term contracts.

Whether you are stuck on a specific formula or need an existing workbook tidied up and made more reliable, this is hands-on support focused on solving real problems.

What this service covers

  • Fixing broken or incorrect formulas
  • Help with lookups such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX and MATCH
  • Building or correcting PivotTables and PivotCharts
  • Cleaning up messy or inconsistent data
  • Making spreadsheets easier to understand and maintain
  • Improving layout, structure, and basic usability
  • Adding simple automation using existing Excel features

This is very much about working with what you already have, not forcing unnecessary complexity or rebuilding things from scratch unless it genuinely makes sense.

How it works

Support is provided on an ad-hoc, hourly basis. You can come with a single question or a list of small issues, and we work through them methodically until things are clear and working properly.

Typical examples include:

  • “This formula used to work and now it doesn’t”
  • “I need this data summarised properly”
  • “I inherited this spreadsheet and I don’t trust it”
  • “I know what I want Excel to do, but not how to do it”

You stay in control throughout, and everything is explained in plain English so you are not left dependent on someone else to make future changes.

How it works

Support is provided on an ad-hoc basis and charged at an hourly rate, calculated pro-rata for the time spent.

Small pieces of work are billed fairly, without rounding everything up to a full hour, and anything likely to take longer is discussed upfront before continuing.
